Hi Sean, I have a problem when testing GUIMark2 VectorChart HTML5 on Samsung i9300 with its default browser of Android 4.04. It gets a fps about 57 on default browser but the rendering of the animation is jittering with human eyes. However, it gets a fps about only 7.4 with Chrome browser on i9300. I looked into the code of GUIMark2 VectorChart HTML5, and find it uses "setInterval" to process frames and calculate the fps. The workload counts the execution rounds of setTimeout to calculate the fps, but actually, during each frame browser renders, one or more “setTimeout/setInterval” might be executed. Counting FPS with setTimeout/setInterval is not reliable. Some articles, for example, http://creativejs.com/resources/requestanimationframe/, describe the problems when using "setTimeout/setInterval" and commonly recommend to replace them with "requestAnimationFrame". It overcomes the efficiency problems of "setTimeout/setInterval".
